Sharmell Murphy

Sharmell McManus Murphy is a part-time Office Assistant at Foley & Foley Law Office. Sharmell was born and raised in Watertown, SD where she attended school and Graduated from Watertown High School. After graduation she moved to Sisseton, SD. Sharmell raised her family of five children along with welcoming Foster Children into her home. Later she went on to get her nursing degree from Lake Area Tech. After doing nursing for 12 years Sharmell went on to become a 911 Communications Office for the Watertown Police Department until her retirement.

Her desire to promote safety she became Miss Click-it the Safety Clown traveling around the state teaching children the importance of using their Car Seats, Booster Seats and Seatbelts.

In 2017 she started working at Foley and Foley Law Office. Sharmell is working mornings at the office answering phones, filing, and welcoming clients into the office. She is enjoying this part of retirement and the opportunity to work with a friendly and knowledgeable staff.
