Jani Berens

Jani Berens is a full-time Legal Assistant at Foley & Foley Law Office and has been part of the team since October 2023. Jani was born and raised in Brookings, SD where she graduated from Brooking High School in 2012. After high school she attended North Dakota State College of Science and has an Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant. Jani now lives in Milbank, SD with her husband and two young boys.

Jani and her husband, Brandon, are proud to be the third-generation grocery store owners of Berens Market in Milbank, SD. They opened a new 30,000+ sq ft building in the fall of 2023. In her free time, Jani enjoys going to the park with her sons, golfing with her husband and reading a good book on the couch!
